The Challenge
Context
TAFF Work is a startup founded by two partners in France's professional cleaning sector. Their business: connecting cleaning companies that need subcontractors with those that have available capacity.
The market need is real. When a cleaning company lands a contract that's too large or runs short on staff, they need to find a reliable partner fast. This happens every day in the industry.
The problem
The founders had been handling this matchmaking manually since launching. In practice, that meant:
- hours on the phone and over email to find the right subcontractor for each job
- no centralized tracking: jobs, legal documents, and payments were managed across scattered files
- compliance risks: required documents (business registration, insurance, tax certificates) were exchanged by email with no systematic validation
- no way to build a trusted network of partners, since nothing was being recorded
This worked at a small scale. But to grow the business, they needed a platform.
What was at stake
Two-person startup, no technical skills in-house. The founders had gotten quotes before — all either too expensive or too slow for a company in launch mode.
They needed a working product quickly, at a predictable cost, so they could start acquiring users and give their offer a professional foundation.
We had obtained several quotes beforehand, but they were either too expensive or incompatible with our time constraints during the launch phase. Manuel stood out with a clear proposal: an MVP delivered in 14 days. The collaboration was smooth from start to finish. The delivered MVP fully meets our expectations: all requested features are operational.

The Solution
Overview
TAFF Work became a platform where professional cleaning companies can post subcontracting jobs, receive applications, negotiate terms, and track the full cycle through to rating the subcontractor.
Everything the founders were doing over the phone and by email is now automated and centralized in one place.
Key features
Job posting and search
Companies post their subcontracting needs with the relevant details: location, dates, type of work. Nearby subcontractors automatically receive matching jobs through an interactive map-based zone system. No more calling around to find the right partner.
Applications and negotiation
When a subcontractor is interested in a job, they apply directly with a quote. The client can accept, decline, or make a counter-offer. Everything is tracked in the platform.
Legal document vault
Each company uploads their required documents (business registration, insurance certificates) to a secure space. Documents are validated, expiration dates are tracked automatically, and reminders are sent before they expire. Compliance without the administrative overhead.
Notifications in the field
Cleaning professionals are on-site, not at a desk. The platform sends notifications by email, in-app, and as push notifications on their phone. Users control what they receive and through which channel.
Integrated subscriptions and payments
Monetization is handled directly in the platform with monthly or annual subscriptions. Users manage their subscription independently, with no manual intervention from the founders.

The Process
Development ran over 14 days, with short iterations and regular check-ins with the founders.
Rather than a fixed spec document, the work was organized in cycles: align on priorities together, build a complete feature, show the result, adjust if needed, move on to the next. The founders could see their product taking shape every day and steer it in real time.
The speed comes from tools that are well-understood and used on every project. Nothing was being learned on the job here. All the development time went into TAFF's business logic, not into boilerplate. The project started as a simple MVP, but the pace made it possible to deliver a complete platform with solid business rules.
After delivery, a month of additional support helped fine-tune and stabilize the product based on early user feedback.

- geo-located job posting and search
- application system with price negotiation
- end-to-end job tracking, from posting to rating

Results
The platform is live with active users. Early users praised the tool for being clear and easy to use.
The ongoing development has since been handed off to a web agency. The delivered code is clean, documented, and maintainable by another team. The founders aren't dependent on a single developer to evolve their product.
What the co-founder says
The result speaks for itself, a solid web app that matches our vision exactly. I recommend Manuel without hesitation to anyone looking for a reliable, dedicated developer who takes ownership of a project as if it were his own.
